Carlos Alberto Tomasi (1 March 1930 – 13 August 2017) was an Argentine bobsledder who competed from the early 1950s to the mid-1960s. Tomasi–Kanade Factorization
The Tomasi–Kanade factorization is the seminal work by Carlo Tomasi and Takeo Kanade in the early 1990s. It charted out an elegant and simple solution based on a SVD-based factorization scheme for analysing image measurements of a rigid object captured from different views using a weak perspective camera model. The crucial observation made by authors was that if all the measurements (i.e., image co-ordinates of all the points in all the views) are collected in a single matrix, the point trajectories will reside in a certain subspace. Tomasi Vakatora
Tomasi Vakatora (18 September 1926 - 12 June 2006) was a Fijian statesman who held Cabinet office and served as Speaker of the House of Representatives. Vakatora entered the House of Representatives as a member of the ruling Alliance Party in 1977 and served in a variety of ministerial positions in the late 1970s and early 1980s. He was elected Speaker of the House of Representatives in 1982, and served till the house was dissolved in 1987. He was appointed Minister of Finance in 1992. In 1995, the Fijian government chose Vakatora as its representative on the Constitutional Review Commission, set up to rewrite the Constitution that had been promulgated in 1990 which many Indo-Fijians alleged discriminated against them. Tomasi Namua Sauqaqa is a former Fijian politician, who served in the Cabinet as Assistant Minister for Health from 2001 to 2006. In this capacity, he assisted the Minister for Health, Solomone Naivalu. In the election held in September 2001, he won the Ba West Fijian Communal Constituency for Interim Prime Minister Laisenia Qarase's party, the ''Soqosoqo Duavata ni Lewenivanua'' (SDL), and was subsequently appointed Minister for Tourism. Sir Tomasi Puapua (born 10 September 1938) is a political figure who represented Vaitupu in the Parliament of Tuvalu. He attended the Fiji School of Medicine and the Otago University Medical School. Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa, 11th Prince of Lampedusa, 12th Duke of Palma, GE (; 23 December 1896 – 23 July 1957) was an Italian writer and the last Prince of Lampedusa. He is most famous for his only novel, ''Il Gattopardo'' (first published posthumously in 1958), which is set in his native Sicily during the ''Risorgimento''.
