Tomahawk (software)
Tomahawk was a free, open-source cross-platform music player for Windows, macOS and Linux. An Android beta client version was launched in June 2016. It focuses on the conglomeration of the user's music library across local and network collections as well as streaming services. The project was marked as abandoned by their authors on May 10, 2017. About Tomahawk has a familiar iTunes-like interface. The left column offers access to playlists, search history, favorite tracks, charts, and other categories. Linux Mint is a community-driven Linux distribution based on Ubuntu (which is in turn based on Debian), bundled with a variety of free and open-source applications. Rdio (pronounced "r-dee-oh") was an online music streaming service that offered ad-supported free streaming and ad-free subscription streaming services in 85 countries. It was available as a website and via app for Android, BlackBerry, iOS, and Windows Phone mobile devices, which could stream music from Rdio's servers or download music for offline playback; there were also clients for the Roku and Sonos systems. Ampache is a free software web-based audio file manager and media server. The name is a blend of the words "amplifier" and "Apache". It was originally written to take advantage of Apache's mod_mp3 module but has since been adapted to use its own streaming method.
