Toma Zdravkov
Toma Zdravkov ( bg, Тома Здравков) (born 24 May 1987 in Pazardzhik, Bulgaria) is a Bulgarian singer, most known for winning Music Idol, the Bulgarian version of the British hit show Pop Idol. Career His career began in 2008 when he won the ''Music Idol'' song contest; he was the first rock singer to win it. Later this year, he released his first album, ''Geroi'' (Hero; bg, Герой), and his first single, also called "Geroi" (a cover of Thornley's "So Far So Good"). On 4 July 2008, he opened for Def Leppard and Whitesnake. In April 2009 Toma released his second single, "Niama Miasto V Teb" (There's No Space In You; bg, Няма Място В Теб). Pazardzhik
Pazardzhik ( bg, Пазарджик ) is a city situated along the banks of the Maritsa river, southern Bulgaria. It is the capital of Pazardzhik Province and centre for the homonymous Pazardzhik Municipality. The Tatars founded Pazardzhik in the end of the XIV century, which they named it ''Tatar-Pazardzhik''. The population was predominantly muslim. That provoke an interest to christians, which would allow the first church in the small town in the XVII century and also create the first church ''St. Mary''. The economy grew over the centuries with the prosper trading of iron, leather and rice. Def Leppard
Def Leppard are an English rock band formed in 1976 in Sheffield. Since 1992, the band has consisted of Rick Savage (bass, backing vocals), Joe Elliott (lead vocals), Rick Allen (drums, backing vocals), Phil Collen (guitar, backing vocals), and Vivian Campbell (guitar, backing vocals). They established themselves as part of the new wave of British heavy metal movement of the early 1980s. The band's greatest commercial success came between the early 1980s and the early 1990s. Bulgarian Rock Archives (or Български рок архиви) is the first online encyclopedia dedicated to rock music in Bulgaria. Launched online on 2 August 2013 and includes more than 350 bands and performers from the mid-1960s. The articles are divided in alphabetical order, year of creation, style, location. Profiles of the groups include a short biography, discography, composition, links to videos, and links to official sites and profiles. Starting 4 June 2015, the site uses a new version, has made an example from the world heavy metal encyclopaedia - Encyclopaedia Metallum, with better features and design. Whitesnake are an English hard rock band formed in London in 1978. The group was originally put together as the backing band for singer David Coverdale, who had recently left Deep Purple. Though the band quickly developed into their own entity, Coverdale is the only constant member throughout their history. Thornley (band)
Thornley was a Canadian post-grunge and hard rock band formed by Ian Thornley in 2002. The band was started when Thornley returned to Toronto after the break-up of his earlier band, Big Wreck. With the help of Chad Kroeger of Nickelback, Thornley signed to Kroeger's 604 Records. The last line-up of the band as Thornley had Paulo Neta (guitar), Dave McMillan (bass guitar), Christopher Henry (drums) and the former member of Big Wreck Brian Doherty (guitar).
