Tom And Jerry In War Of The Whiskers
''Tom and Jerry in War of the Whiskers'' is a fighting video game developed by VIS Entertainment, published by NewKidCo for PlayStation 2, GameCube, and Xbox. It is the sequel to the 3D cartoon fighting video game ''Tom and Jerry in Fists of Furry'' for Nintendo 64 and Microsoft Windows. It allows up to four players to play simultaneously. It is the only NewKidCo game and the only '' MGM's Tom and Jerry'' game, released to receive a T rating. The PlayStation 2 version was released in all major regions, and the GameCube and Xbox versions were only released in North America. The game received mixed reviews from critics, with Metacritic scores of 63/100, 64/100, and 50/100 on PlayStation 2, GameCube, and Xbox, respectively. VIS Entertainment
VIS Entertainment Limited (formerly known as VIS Interactive) was a British video game developer based in Edinburgh, Scotland. The company was founded in 1996 by Chris van der Kuyl and Peter Baillie. In April 2003, VIS Entertainment acquired BAM! Entertainment's London-based development studio, though, after financial struggles, closed it down in September that year. A studio on the Isle of Wight was closed in August and several jobs were cut from their VIS iTV joint venture in November. VIS Entertainment was acquired by BAM! Alan Marriott (voice Actor)
Alan Marriott (born July 19, 1971) is a Canadian voice actor and instructor. Marriott moved to Vancouver, British Columbia in 1980 to attend the Studio 58 acting school. He left Studio 58 to join the first season of Salmon Arm Summer Stock Youth Theatre (SASSY) and did two seasons with the company. Marriott spent four years working with the improvisational theatre group Vancouver Theatresports and also played the character of Aldous Bacon in VSL's original production of ''Suspect'' (an improvised murder mystery). Marriott moved to London, England to complete his formal acting training at The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). Nibbles (also known as Tuffy) is a fictional character from the ''Tom and Jerry'' cartoon series. He is the little, blue/gray, nappy-wearing orphan mouse whose cartoon debut came in the 1946 short ''The Milky Waif''. Tuffy was later featured in the 1949 Academy Award-winning short ''The Little Orphan'', as well as ''Two Little Indians'' and '' The Two Mouseketeers'' (both 1952). Spike and Tyke are fictional characters from the ''Tom and Jerry'' animated film series, created by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera. Spike (who goes by different names in a few episodes - Killer for four episodes, Butch for two episodes, and Bulldog for one) is portrayed as an American Bulldog, who is generally amiable and friendly, and a loving father to his son Tyke in several episodes.
