Tom Watt (actor)
Thomas Erickson Watt (born 14 February 1956) is an English actor, writer and broadcaster, known for portraying the role of Lofty Holloway in the BBC One soap opera ''EastEnders''. He is also known for his appearances on the BBC radio show ''Fighting Talk'' and his documentary films for BT Sport. Career Acting Born in Wanstead, Watt studied drama at Manchester University where he directed several stage productions. One of his first television roles was in the comedy series ''Never the Twain'' in 1981, but his big break came in 1985 when he was cast as one of the original characters in the BBC One soap opera, ''EastEnders''. Watt portrayed the role of Lofty Holloway, the barman of The Queen Vic from the show's inception until 1988. Wanstead
Wanstead () is a town in East London, England, in the London Borough of Redbridge. It borders South Woodford to the north, Redbridge, London, Redbridge to the east and Forest Gate to the south, with Leytonstone and Walthamstow to the west. It is located 8 miles northeast of Charing Cross. Historically an ancient parish in the Becontree Hundred, Becontree hundred of Essex, it was granted Urban district (Great Britain and Ireland), urban district status in 1894, and formed part of the Municipal Borough of Wanstead and Woodford between 1937 and 1965, when it became part of the London Borough of Redbridge. New Order (band)
New Order are an English rock band formed in 1980 by vocalist and guitarist Bernard Sumner, bassist Peter Hook and drummer Stephen Morris. The members regrouped after the demise of their previous band Joy Division due to the suicide of lead singer Ian Curtis. They were joined by Gillian Gilbert on keyboards later that year. New Order's integration of post-punk with electronic and dance music made them one of the most acclaimed and influential bands of the 1980s. "Subterranean Homesick Blues" is a song by Bob Dylan, recorded on January 14, 1965, and released as a single by Columbia Records, catalogue number 43242, on March 8. It was the lead track on the album ''Bringing It All Back Home'', released some two weeks later. It was Dylan's first Top 40 hit in the United States, peaking at number 39 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100. It also entered the Top 10 of the UK Singles Chart. Bob Dylan (legally Robert Dylan, born Robert Allen Zimmerman, May 24, 1941) is an American singer-songwriter. Arsenal TV was a sports television channel devoted to coverage of the English football club Arsenal F.C. It was a part of the Setanta Sports package and was similar to other Setanta's other channels Celtic TV, Rangers TV and LFC TV.
