Tom Sewell (basketball)
Tom Sewell (born March 11, 1962) is a retired American professional basketball player. He played in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for the Washington Bullets during the 1984–85 season. Biography Born in Pensacola, Florida and a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School, Sewell played collegiately with the Cardinals of Lamar University for three years, averaging 22.9 points per game as a junior. Sewell was selected by the Philadelphia 76ers with the 22nd overall pick in the 1984 NBA draft. The Lamar Cardinals and Lady Cardinals (variously Cardinals or Cards) refers to the college athletics teams of Lamar University, in Beaumont, Texas. The Cardinals and Lady Cardinals teams compete in seventeen NCAA Division I sports as a member of the Southland Conference. Harvey Grant (born July 4, 1965) is an American former professional National Basketball Association basketball player. He is the identical twin brother of Horace Grant, also a former NBA player. College Grant transferred to Oklahoma after a year in junior college and a year at Clemson with his brother Horace.
