Tom Morgan (rugby Union)
Tom Morgan (14 November 1866 – 22 March 1899) was a Welsh international rugby union centre who played club rugby for Llanelli and international rugby for Wales. Morgan was a collier by profession. Tom Morgan (footballer)
Thomas M. Morgan was a football manager, noted in the 1930s for twice being the manager of Port Vale, which is the area where he was born, as well having a spell as manager of Wrexham. Playing career Morgan played for Etruria Church, Goldenhill Villa, Tunstall Park and Goldenhill Warriors before joining Port Vale in the summer of 1910. He scored twice on his debut at inside-right in a 4–2 win at Audley in a Burslem Park Cup game. However he was forced into retirement due to injury the following year, having played just a further four games for the club. Coaching career Morgan was offered employment at Vale following his injury. He worked as a scout, assistant secretary and reserve team manager before being appointed the first time manager following the death of Joe Schofield in October 1929. Tom Stephen Morgan (May 20, 1930 – January 13, 1987) was a Major League Baseball pitcher. A native of El Monte, California, the , right-hander was signed by the New York Yankees as an amateur free agent before the 1949 season. He played for the Yankees (1951–52; 1954–56), Kansas City Athletics (1957), Detroit Tigers (1958–60), Washington Senators (1960) and Los Angeles Angels (1961–63). A farmer in his native California, his nickname was "Plowboy." Morgan was both as a starting pitcher and as a relief pitcher during his career. In his first five seasons he had a combined 38-22 record with 26 saves for the Yankees and appeared in three World Series (1952, 1955, and 1956). He started 46 games for New York and relieved in 110 others. On June 30, 1954, Morgan tied a Major League Baseball record for most hit batsmen in an inning (3) vs. the Boston Red Sox. Thomas Oliver Morgan (born 20 January 1941) is a retired bishop of the Anglican Church of Canada. Morgan was educated at the University of Saskatchewan and trained for the priesthood at King's College London and Tyndale Hall, Bristol. He began his ordained ministry as a curate at the Church of the Saviour, Blackburn, after which he was the incumbent of Porcupine Plain, Saskatchewan. Tom Morgan (born October 21) is an American comic book artist known primarily for his work on Marvel Comics' ''Captain America'', '' The Punisher 2099'', ''Excalibur'' and ''Iron Man''. Career Morgan broke into the industry in the early 1980s and worked on a large number of Marvel titles, mostly as a fill-in artist, for such books as ''Captain America'', ''Star Brand'', ''West Coast Avengers'', ''Star Trek'', and ''Power Pack''.
