Lynn Reynolds
Lynn Fairfield Reynolds (May 7, 1889 – February 25, 1927) was an American director and screenwriter. Reynolds directed more than 80 films between 1915 and 1928. He also wrote for 58 films between 1914 and 1927. Reynolds was born in Harlan, Iowa and died in Los Angeles, California, from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Death Returning home in 1927 after being snowbound in the Sierras for three weeks, Reynolds telephoned his wife, actress Kathleen O'Connor, to arrange a dinner party at their Hollywood home with another couple. During the dinner, Reynolds and O'Connor engaged in a heated quarrel in which each accused the other of infidelity. With his guests following in an attempt to calm him down, Reynolds left the table to retrieve a pistol from another room where he shot himself in the head. Edward Peil Sr
Edward J. Peil Sr. (January 18, 1883 – December 29, 1958) was an American film actor. He appeared in more than 370 films between 1913 and 1951. Biography Peil was born in Racine, Wisconsin, one of 10 children of Mr. and Mrs. John H. Pell. He attended Racine High School and the University of Notre Dame, studying dramatics, which led to his acting on stage and later in films. His first film was ''Charley's Aunt'' (1906). He had the lead in the first five-reel film, ''Through Fire to Fortune'' (1910). He also acted in the first film that used artificial illumination outdoors at night, the first three-reel color film, and the first Technicolor film. Peil's wife, Henrietta, was an actress. They were married in 1916 in Wabash, Indiana, while both were touring with the Chicago Majestic Theater Stock Company. Peil died in Hollywood, California. In Greek mythology, Hector (; grc, Ἕκτωρ, Hektōr, label=none, ) is a character in Homer's Iliad. He was a Trojan prince and the greatest warrior for Troy during the Trojan War. Ralph Yearsley (October 6, 1896 – December 4, 1928) was a British-born character actor who worked in Hollywood films. Early life and education Born in London, England, he was trained in a medical school, but left for the United States to pursue a career in the film industry. Career He made his motion picture debut in 1921 in a secondary but good role in the Goldwyn Pictures silent film comedy '' Pardon My French'' directed by Sidney Olcott. That same year he appeared as Saul "Little Buzzard" Hatburn in ''Tol'able David'', directed by Henry King for Inspiration Pictures. The acclaimed film was voted a Photoplay magazine's medal of honor. Over the next eight years, Yearsley appeared in another twenty films, in secondary or minor roles. One of his more notable roles was in Harold Lloyd's 1927 film ''The Kid Brother''.
