Tom Miller (saloon Keeper)
The Bella Union was a Western saloon, saloon and theater that opened on September 10, 1876, in Deadwood, South Dakota. The proprietor was Tom Miller, an aggressive businessman who would buy several neighboring properties as well. Bella Union Saloon was a relatively upscale establishment where town meetings came to be held. In November 1878, Tom Miller went bankrupt, and the Bella Union became a grocery store downstairs and a meeting hall named Mechanics' Hall upstairs. Tom Miller (artist)
Thomas Patton Miller (1945–2000), who went by the name Tom Miller, was a Baltimore artist best known for his "Afro-Deco" painted furniture. He was born in the Sandtown-Winchester neighborhood and attended Carver Vocational Technical High School. In 1963, he received a scholarship to the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA). After graduation, he taught art in the Baltimore City public schools for two decades before returning to MICA for his MFA, which he received in 1987. Miller turned the traditional Baltimore crafts of painted screens and furniture into platforms for the exploration of history and race through color, whimsy, wit, and design. Stylistically, his work "has numerous roots, notably African art and art deco." Tom Miller (born 1976) is an American musician and visual artist from Las Vegas, Nevada best known as the lead singer and co-creator of Black Camaro. Miller shares songwriting duties with co-creator Brian Garth, while also providing the visual aesthetic for Black Camaro's album art and live concert posters. Miller holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from UNLV and is an active member of the arts community in Las Vegas. Early life Miller was born Thomas Gilbert Miller II in Southeast Asia on September 2, 1976. Tom Miller (born October 5, 1965, in Hialeah, Florida, Hialeah, Florida, United States), is an American writer, film director, artist, painter, musician, actor, poet, and performance artist. Early life Miller was adopted by Nathan Anderson Miller and Alfreda Rowena Reed Miller and lived with his aunt, Alice Miriam Reed, who worked as a piano teacher.
