Tom Lammonby
Thomas Alexander Lammonby (born 2 June 2000) is an English cricketer. On 20 July 2019, he made his Twenty20 debut for Somerset in the 2019 T20 Blast. Prior to his T20 debut, Lammonby was named in England's squad for the 2018 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. However, he was ruled out of the tournament after breaking his hand. Personal background Lammonby was born on 2 June 2000 in Exeter. His cousin, Ryan Campbell, is an Australian former cricketer. Career Lammonby made his first-class debut on 1 August 2020, for Somerset in the 2020 Bob Willis Trophy. Lammonby scored his maiden century in his fourth first-class match, against Gloucestershire at Taunton. He followed it up with centuries against Worcestershire and, in the Bob Willis Trophy final, Essex. The 2019 Vitality Blast is the 2019 season of the t20 Blast, a professional Twenty20 cricket league that was played in England and Wales. It was the second season in which the domestic T20 competition, run by the ECB, has been branded as the Vitality Blast due to a new sponsorship deal. The league consisted of the 18 first-class county teams divided into two divisions of nine teams each with fixtures played, slightly later than usual, between July and September. Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. The Hundred is a professional franchise 100-ball cricket tournament involving eight men's and eight women's teams located in major cities across England and Wales. The tournament is run by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and took place for the first time in July and August 2021. Essex County Cricket Club is one of eighteen first-class county clubs within the domestic cricket structure of England and Wales. It represents the historic county of Essex. County Ground, Taunton
The County Ground, known for sponsorship reasons as Cooper Associates County Ground, and nicknamed Ciderabad, is a cricket ground in Taunton, Somerset. It is the home of Somerset County Cricket Club, who have played there since 1882. The ground, which is located between Priory Bridge Road and St James Street, has a capacity of 8,500. The ground was originally built as part of a sports centre by Taunton Athletic Club in 1881, and became the home of the previously nomadic Somerset County Cricket Club soon after. Having leased the ground for ten years, the club bought the ground in 1896, under the guidance of club secretary Henry Murray-Anderdon. Gloucestershire County Cricket Club is one of eighteen first-class county clubs within the domestic cricket structure of England and Wales. It represents the historic county of Gloucestershire.
