Tom Kipp
Tom Kipp (born November 17, 1968) from Chardon, Ohio is an American former motorcycle racer. A List of Superbike World Championship race winners, Superbike World Championship race winner, Kipp won the AMA 600 SuperSport Championship in 1992 and the AMA 750 SuperSport Championship in 1994, 1995 and 1999; Kipp, who started motocross racing before he was six years old, also competed in the AMA Superbike Championship, the British Superbike Championship and the AMA Formula Xtreme Championship. He retired in late 2003 to study for Christian ministry, returning to competition for 2005 in the Canadian Superbike Championship. He later became a pastor. The American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) is an American nonprofit organization of more than 200,000 motorcyclists that organizes numerous motorcycling activities and campaigns for motorcyclists' legal rights. Its mission statement is "to promote the motorcycling lifestyle and protect the future of motorcycling." The organization was founded in 1924 and as of October 2016 had more than 1,100 chartered clubs. Willoughby, Ohio
Willoughby is a city in Lake County, Ohio and is a suburb of Cleveland. The population was 22,268 at the time of the 2010 census. History Willoughby's first permanent settler was David Abbott in 1798, who operated a gristmill. Abbott and his family were said to have had close relations with a band of Indians along the banks of the local river, which the Indians called the "Sha-ga-rin" meaning "Clear Water." This river was later called the Chagrin River, though the origin of the name remains in dispute. In 1835, the village was permanently named "Willoughby" in honor of Westel Willoughby, Jr., a public health official that the founders of a short-lived Medical College, which was based in the city, hoped to attract to the area. Many historical buildings from this period survive to this date, affording the downtown Willoughby area some outstanding specimens of 19th century architecture.
