Tom Joyner (writer)
Tom Joyner is a writer and academic. Joyner received his B.A. in English from Rollins College and his M.A. and Ph.D. (both in Theater) from the University of Colorado Boulder. His research foci included 20th Century Irish drama, post-colonial theaters, and theaters of social justice. He has worked as a performer, dramaturg, educational outreach writer, and director with university, community, and professional theaters in Florida and Colorado and was part of the inaugural class for Naropa University's Actor-created Physical Theater program. Prior to graduate school, while working as a freelance writer, Joyner co-created and wrote several titles for DC Comics including ''Hammerlocke'', ''Scarlett'', and '' Damage.'' His first published comics work was an Amazons feature which appeared as a DC Comics Bonus Book in ''Wonder Woman'' #26 (January 1989). Rollins College
Rollins College is a private college in Winter Park, Florida. It was founded in November 1885 and has about 30 undergraduate majors and several graduate programs. It is Florida's fourth oldest post-secondary institution. History Rollins College is Florida's fourth oldest post-secondary institution, and has been independent, nonsectarian, and coeducational from conception. Lucy Cross, founder of the Daytona Institute for Young Women in 1880, first placed the matter of establishing a college in Florida before the Congregational Churches in 1884. In 1885, the church put her on the committee in charge of determining the location of the first college in Florida. Cross is known as the "Mother of Rollins College." Deathstroke
Deathstroke (Slade Joseph Wilson) is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. Created by Marv Wolfman and George Pérez, the character debuted in '' The New Teen Titans'' #2 in December 1980 as Deathstroke the Terminator. He is usually depicted as being among the deadliest and most expensive assassins in the DC Universe and is a prominent enemy of several superhero teams, most notably the Teen Titans, the Titans, and the Justice League. He is also a prominent adversary to individual heroes such as Dick Grayson (as Robin and later Nightwing) who has been depicted at times as his archenemy, Batman, and Green Arrow. Deathblow is a fictional character in the . He first appears in ''Darker Image'' #1 (March 1993) and was created by Jim Lee and Brandon Choi. Fictional character biography Michael Cray was born to U.S. Navy Admiral Phillip James Cray and Elizabeth Cray. He has a brother named Alexander. Michael Cray's daughter is Rachel Goldman, a.k.a. Sublime, a member of DV8. After his parents were slain by terrorists, he joins the U.S. military to avenge their deaths. He became a Navy SEAL prior to being transferred to International Operation's newly formed Team 7. Like all members of that group, he was a highly experienced Special Forces operative. Teen Titans
The Teen Titans are a superhero team appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics, frequently in eponymous monthly series. As the group's name indicates, the members are teenage superheroes, many of whom have acted as sidekicks to DC's premier superheroes in the Justice League. The original team later becomes known as the Titans when the members age out of their teenage years, while the Teen Titans name is continued by subsequent generations of young heroes.
