Tom Beauvais (born 1932) is a British artist, best known for film posters. Beauvais was born in Belsize Park, North London in 1932, the son of Arnold Beauvais. He designed the poster for the 1969 film ''Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid''. Belsize Park is an affluent residential area of Hampstead in the London Borough of Camden (the inner north-west of London), England. The residential streets are lined with mews houses and Georgian and Victorian villas. Some nearby localities are Hampstead village to the north and west, Camden Town to the south-east and Primrose Hill to the south. Arnold Victor Beauvais (1886–1984) was a British designer and illustrator. He was born in Rushey Green, Catford, London in April 1886, the third of six children of French-born painter and lithographic artist Charles Henri Beauvais (1862–1911) and his wife Anne Corfield. Beauvais created the artwork for the British poster for the 1955 Marilyn Monroe film ''The Seven Year Itch''. ''Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid'' is a 1969 American Western buddy film directed by George Roy Hill and written by William Goldman. ''Mad Max'' is a 1979 Australian dystopian action film directed by George Miller and produced by Byron Kennedy. Mel Gibson stars as "Mad" Max Rockatansky, a police officer turned vigilante in a near-future Australia in the midst of societal collapse.
