Tom Artis
Tomosina "Tom" Cawthorne-Artis (January 3, 1956''Comics Buyer's Guide'' #1650; February 2009; Page 107 – May 1, 2007) was a comic book artist for DC Comics, Fleetway/Quality, and Marvel Comics throughout the 1980s and early 1990s. In 1991, he was a partner in Leadslinger Comics and illustrated their only original release, ''The Terror''. His DC, Marvel, and Fleetway/Quality work included '' The Spectre'', '' Green Arrow'', '' She-Hulk'', ''Judge Dredd'', and the '' Tailgunner Jo'' miniseries. He was a fixture at Chambanacon, usually found in the consuite with his sketchbook. Eulogized at Chambanacon 38. Secret Origins
''Secret Origins'' is the title of several comic book series published by DC Comics which featured the origin stories of the publisher's various characters. Publication history ''Secret Origins'' was first published as a one-shot in 1961 and contained only reprinted material. The title became an ongoing reprint series in February–March 1973 which ran for seven issues and ended in October–November 1974. The title was used on various compilations of origin stories, including ''Limited Collectors' Edition'' #C-39: ''Secret Origins Super-Villains'' (October–November 1975) and #C-45: ''More Secret Origins Super-Villains'' (June–July 1976) as well as ''DC Special Series'' #10 (1978) and 19 (Fall 1979). ''X-Factor'' is an American comic book series published by Marvel Comics. It is a spin-off from the popular X-Men franchise, featuring characters from X-Men stories. The series has been relaunched several times with different team rosters, most recently as '' X-Factor (2020),'' written by Leah Williams. ''X-Factor'' launched in 1986, featuring the five original X-Men reorganizing as a group in response to the seeming outlaw status of the then-current X-Men team of whom Magneto was a member. Sensational She-Hulk
She-Hulk (Jennifer "Jen" Walters) is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by writer Stan Lee and artist John Buscema, she first appeared in ''The Savage She-Hulk'' #1 (cover-dated February 1980). Walters is a lawyer who, after an injury, received an emergency blood transfusion from her cousin, Bruce Banner, and acquired a milder version of his Hulk condition. As such, Walters becomes a large, powerful, green-hued version of herself. Unlike Banner she largely retains her personality, in particular the majority of her intelligence and emotional control. Like Hulk, she is still susceptible to outbursts of anger and becomes much stronger when enraged. Starfox (Eros of Titan) is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. He first appeared in '' The Invincible Iron Man'' #55 (February 1973), created by Jim Starlin. He is depicted as a member of a human offshoot race known as the Eternals. ''Amazing Adventures'' is the name of several anthology comic book series, all but one published by Marvel Comics. Grimjack
Grimjack is the main character of a comic book originally published by the American company First Comics. John Ostrander and Timothy Truman are credited as co-creators of the character, although Ostrander had been developing Grimjack with artist Lenin Delsol before Truman's arrival on the project according to Ostrander's own text piece in ''Grimjack'' #75. In that same essay, the writer also revealed having initially conceived the character to be the star of a series of prose stories, set in a post-apocalyptic Chicago. The Web is a fictional character, a superhero created by MLJ Comics in 1942 by artist John Cassone and an unknown writer. The character was published in '' Zip Comics'' until 1943, and was later brought back in 1966 to appear in Archie's revived superhero line.
