Thomas Anderson (born November 8, 1970) is an American technology entrepreneur and co-founder of the social networking service, social networking website Myspace, which he founded in 2003 with Chris DeWolfe. He was later president of Myspace and a strategic adviser for the company. Anderson is popularly known as "Tom from Myspace", "Myspace Tom" or "My friend, Tom" because he would automatically be assigned as the first "friend" of new Myspace users upon the creation of their profiles. Tom J. Anderson (born Ahmad Rezaee Mirghaed ( fa, احمد رضایی میرقائد), 1975/1976 – 12 November 2011) was a businessman and the eldest son of Iranian Major General Mohsen Rezaee. He defected to the Embassy of the United States, Vienna in 1998, which led to the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) bringing him to New York City and granting him political asylum. Having been associated with Burnley from the age of seven, he turned professional at the club in May 2012.
