Thomas Lavern Alward (born October 13, 1952, in Flint, Michigan) was a National Football League offensive guard who played in 1976 for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He attended high school at Bendle High School, college at the University of Nebraska and was the New York Jets 6th round pick in the 1975 NFL Draft. Flint is the largest city and seat of Genesee County, Michigan, United States. Located along the Flint River, northwest of Detroit, it is a principal city within the region known as Mid Michigan. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are a professional American football team based in Tampa, Florida. Bendle High School
Bendle High School is a public high school in Burton, Michigan, United States. It serves grades 9-12 for the Bendle Public Schools. History In 1928 in the southern portion of what was then Burton Township, the first Bendle School, which served kindergarten to 12th grade, opened. It continued to serve the students of the area until the township's population growth after World War II resulted in overcrowding.
