Tokyo DisneySea is a theme park in Urayasu, Chiba, Japan, just outside Tokyo. This is a list of current and past attractions – rides, shows, restaurants, and shops – that have appeared at the park. Tokyo DisneySea
is a theme park at the Tokyo Disney Resort located in Urayasu, Chiba Prefecture, Japan, just next to Tokyo. It opened on 4 September 2001, at a cost of 335 billion yen. The Oriental Land Company owns the park, and licenses intellectual property from The Walt Disney Company. As of 2019, Tokyo DisneySea is the fourth-most visited theme park in the world and the second-most visited in Japan behind its sister park Tokyo Disneyland. History Plans for a second Disney park in Tokyo were first conceived in 1987. Initially, these plans included a park similar to Disney's Hollywood Studios (then Disney-MGM Studios), to be called Disney Hollywood Studio Theme Park at Tokyo Disneyland. Jasmine's Flying Carpets
The Magic Carpets of Aladdin is a ride in Magic Kingdom, at Walt Disney World. It is based on the 1992 film, ''Aladdin''. It is similar to the Dumbo the Flying Elephant attraction in that riders in the front rows control how high their carpets fly, and the ride lasts about 90 seconds. At the entrance, there is a camel that squirts people as they walk by, much like the Stitch figurine outside the World of Disney store. The shops near this attraction are themed to Agrabah's marketplace from the film, and the Aladdin, Jasmine, and Genie walk-around characters are often avaliable for meet-and-greets in the nearby buildings. is a Japanese leisure and tourism corporation headquartered in Urayasu, Chiba, Japan where it also owns and operates the Tokyo Disney Resort. The company operates in three segments, divided as theme parks, hotels, and other business. Oriental Land pays licenses and royalties to The Walt Disney Company for use of their intellectual properties, while Disney provides consultation and their Imagineering division to design and build Oriental Land's theme parks and attractions at the resort. Toy Story Midway Mania! StormRider
StormRider was a simulator ride at Tokyo DisneySea. It simulated going into a storm in a futuristic aircraft (a "StormRider") to dissipate it. The attraction opened on September 4th, 2001, in the Port Discovery land of Tokyo DisneySea. The attraction closed on May 17th, 2016, and was replaced by a new Finding Nemo/Finding Dory simulator ride called Nemo & Friends SeaRider.
