Together For Catalonia (2020)
Together for Catalonia ( ca, Junts per Catalunya, Junts) is a Catalan political party established in July 2020 by former Catalan president Carles Puigdemont, announced on 2 July as a result of the foundering of negotiations with the Catalan European Democratic Party (PDeCAT) over the re-organization of the post- convergent political space under the "Together for Catalonia" umbrella. The party's founding congress will take place between 25 July and 3 October, after being launched on 18 July with the public presentation of its imagery and corporate identity by Elsa Artadi and Marta Madrenas. The new Together for Catalonia was formed by the merger of the National Call for the Republic (CNxR), the Action for the Republic (AxR), The Greens–Green Alternative (EV–AV) and splinter elements from the PDeCAT such as Independence Rally (RI.cat), but it also aims at the eventual incorporation of members from the Democrats of Catalonia (DC) and the Popular Unity Candidacy (CUP) part ...

Laura Borràs i Castanyer (born 5 October 1970) is a Catalan philologist, academic and politician from Spain who was the President of the Parliament of Catalonia until her suspension as member of the Parliament of Catalonia under allegations of corruption. Born in 1970 in Spain in the city of Barcelona, Borràs studied Catalan philology at the University of Barcelona (UB) before becoming an academic. She taught at UB and the Open University of Catalonia. Between 2013 and 2018 she was director of the Institució de les Lletres Catalanes. The Greens–Green Alternative ( ca, Els Verds–Alternativa Verda, EV–AV) is a political party based in Catalonia, founded in September 1999 by former members of The Greens–Ecologist Confederation of Catalonia (EV–CEC), after the party had split in March 1998 over the type of relationship to establish with the newly-autonomous Initiative for Catalonia (IC). Marta Madrenas i Mir (born 1 November 1967) is a Spanish politician and lawyer from Catalonia. Since 2016, she has served as mayor of Girona. Since 17 January 2018 she has been a member of the Parliament of Catalonia in the 12th term of office for the electoral coalition Together for Catalonia. Elsa Artadi i Vila (born 19 August 1976) is a Spanish economist, academic and politician from Catalonia. Artadi is a member of the Parliament of Catalonia and was previously Minister of the Presidency and Government Spokesperson of Catalonia. Born in 1976 in Barcelona, Artadi studied economics at Pompeu Fabra University and Harvard University before becoming an academic. She taught economics at Bocconi University and was visiting professor at several other universities. Later she held various senior positions at the Generalitat de Catalunya.
