Todd Livingston
Todd Livingston is a filmmaker and author. Biography Livingston began his career as a comedian in the critically acclaimed quintette (later trio) 'Open Season'. The group toured the U.S. and Canada, headlining clubs and colleges and becoming regulars at L.A's Comedy Store, New York's Comic Strip and Improv, where they would often share the stage with Jerry Seinfeld, Adam Sandler and Chris Rock. Livingston co-wrote and produced the group's novelty song "The Shakespeare Rap," which became a top 10 hit on the Dr. Demento radio show, and became the group's signature bit. During the slim non-touring time, Todd took gigs acting for network TV and movies, including ''Unsolved Mysteries'' and Umberto Lenzi’s cult horror favorite ''Hitcher in the Dark''. Comedy Store
The Comedy Store is an American comedy club opened in April 1972. It is located in West Hollywood, California, at 8433 Sunset Boulevard on the Sunset Strip. An associated club is located in La Jolla, San Diego, California. History The Comedy Store was opened in April 1972 by comedians Sammy Shore (1927–2019), and Rudy De Luca. The building was formerly the home of Club Seville (1935), later, Ciro's (1940–1957), a popular Hollywood nightclub owned by William Wilkerson, and later Ciro's Le Disc, a rock and roll venue, where The Byrds were discovered in 1964. When the venue reopened as The Comedy Store in 1972, it included a 99-seat theatre. As a result of a divorce settlement, Sammy Shore's ex-wife Mitzi Shore began operating the club in 1973, and she was able to buy the building in 1976. Scream Awards
The Scream Awards was an award show dedicated to the horror, sci-fi, and fantasy genres of feature films. Originally only having ''Scream Queen'' and ''Heroic Performance'' awards for actors, the personnel awards have expanded to include actors and actresses of all three recognized genres. Comic books awards were also given and have been recently expanded. It was broadcast on Spike and has been branded in the past as the Spike TV Scream Awards. Subsequently, the show was relabeled simply ''Scream'' with the respective year, i.e. Scream 2009. The show was created by executive producers Michael Levitt, Cindy Levitt, and Casey Patterson. A graphic novel is a long-form, fictional work of sequential art.
