Todd Ellis Kessler
Todd Ellis Kessler is an American television producer and writer. He has worked in both capacities on varied series including ''The Practice'', ''Crossing Jordan'', ''Kevin Hill'', ''The Unit'' and ''The Good Wife''. He has been nominated for daytime and primetime Emmy Awards and a Writers Guild of America Award. Career Kessler began writing for television with the NBC science fiction series '' Sleepwalkers'' in 1997. He served as an executive story editor for the series single season. Later in 1997 Kessler next became a writer for the second season of the ABC legal drama ''The Practice''. He wrote the episodes "The Means" and "Axe Murderer". The Practice
''The Practice'' is an American legal drama television series created by David E. Kelley centering on partners and associates at a Boston law firm. The show ran for eight seasons on ABC, from March 4, 1997, to May 16, 2004. It won an Emmy in 1998 and 1999 for Outstanding Drama Series, and spawned the spin-off series '' Boston Legal'', which ran for five more seasons (from 2004 to 2008). Conflict between legal ethics and personal morality was a recurring theme with light comedy being occasionally present. Kelley claimed that he conceived the show as something of a rebuttal to ''L.A. David Marshall Grant (born June 21, 1955) is an American actor, singer and writer. Life and career Grant was born in Westport, Connecticut, to physician parents. Immediately after graduating from Connecticut College with an M.F.A. and receiving a certificate in fine arts from the Yale School of Drama, his first paying job was as Richard Gere's lover in the Broadway play '' Bent''. A student at Juilliard during summer breaks from high school, Grant soon joined the Yale Repertory Company during his college days, and in 1978, made a great impression in the play ''Bent''. Richard Timothy Kring (born July 9, 1957) is an American screenwriter and television producer, best known for his creation of the drama series '' Strange World'', ''Crossing Jordan'', '' Heroes'', and ''Touch''. Early life Kring was born in El Dorado County, California. He is Jewish. He has two brothers and a sister. He attended Allan Hancock College, where his father, Ray, was the track coach, then graduated from the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts in 1983.
