Tobacco Road Basketball League
The Tobacco Road Basketball League (TRBL) was a professional men's basketball minor league in the United States that began play in April 2012. The league is centered in the Carolinas. In November 2014 the TRBL entered into an affiliation agreement with the Premier Basketball League (PBL). History In 2011, the Wilmington Sea Dawgs and the Cary Invasion announced the formation of the Tobacco Road Basketball League and their membership therein, thus leaving the Continental Basketball League. The Fayetteville Crossover then announced their move to this league as well. On 2 December 2011, the Carolina Gladiators and PrimeTime Players joined the league. In January 2012, the league announced the addition of three travel/exhibition teams: Team Macleem, Queen City Express, and Big Texas. Hendersonville, North Carolina
Hendersonville is a city in Henderson County, North Carolina, United States. It is south of Asheville and is the county seat of Henderson County. Like the county, the city is named for 19th-century North Carolina Supreme Court Chief Justice Leonard Henderson. The population was 13,137 at the 2010 census and was estimated in 2019 to be 14,157. Introduction Prior to the Treaty of Hopewell, the land that now is occupied by Hendersonville was settled by Cherokee tribes. Herbert Young Community Center
The Herbert C. Young Community Center is the local community and recreation center in Cary, North Carolina. The center opened in 1991, and was the first such facility in the town. It was renamed in 2001 in honor of Herb Young, a 20-year volunteer and former Town Council member who also served on the Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources Advisory Board member. East Coast Basketball League
East Coast Basketball League (ECBL) is a men's professional basketball minor league in the United States that began play in March 2015. The league is centered in the Carolinas with teams also in Georgia (U.S. state), Georgia, Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Connecticut and Massachusetts.
