''To Those Left Behind'' is the fifth studio album by American metalcore band Blessthefall. The album was released on September 18, 2015, through Fearless Records and was produced by Joey Sturgis. It is their last album to be released on this label before the band signed to Rise Records in 2018. The first single, "Up in Flames" was released on July 9, 2015, while the band was on Vans Warped Tour 2015. Background The band announced in April that they had entered the studio to work with Joey Sturgis for their fifth album. In June, while on Warped Tour 2015, they gave a September 18 release date through Fearless Records. Of the album, frontman Beau Bokan said, "As a band we are constantly trying to outdo ourselves and take a step forward with each record. With this new album we've taken a giant fucking leap forward and are at our absolute best as musicians and song writers. We're looking forward to seeing where this album will take us." Their second studio album, ''Witness'', with second vocalist Beau Bokan, was released October 6, 2009. Their third studio album, '' Awakening'', was released on October 4, 2011. Matt Traynor
Matthew James Traynor is an American musician that primarily performs metalcore, and best known for being the former drummer of the metalcore band Blessthefall from its formation in 2004 until his departure in 2018. He is originally from Massapequa, New York, but moved to Phoenix, Arizona and eventually helped form Blessthefall. Background Traynor has been playing drums since 2000. Traynor started his musical career with bassist Jared Warth and guitarist Mike Frisby in 2002. The trio formed the band and hired vocalist Craig Mabbitt in early 2004. Traynor is one of the only two remaining original members, the other being Warth, after Frisby left the band in 2011. In 2018, Traynor announced his departure from the band. The ''Billboard'' 200 is a record chart ranking the 200 most popular music albums and EPs in the United States. It is published weekly by '' Billboard'' magazine and is frequently used to convey the popularity of an artist or groups of artists. Often, a recording act will be remembered by its " number ones", those of their albums that outperformed all others during at least one week. The chart grew from a weekly top 10 list in 1956 to become a top 200 list in May 1967, and acquired its current name in March 1992. Joel Wanasek
Joel Thomas Wanasek is an American record producer and owner of JTW Recording in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Wanasek started recording in 2002, initially as a self-taught producer, but by January 2006, he was able to quit his job and professionally dedicate to his recording business. He has worked with bands such as Blessthefall, Machine Head, Attila, Miss May I and Monuments, amongst others. Career and education Joel Wanasek started playing violin at the age of 10, and guitar at the age of 12. He was inspired to practice by Randy Rhoads, forming a band called Crystal Reign which lasted for a number of years. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater He created the now defunct instructional guitar web site ''InsaneGuitar.com'', before forming his band Dark Shift in 2000, where he played lead guitar. Erik Ron (born July 4, 1985) is an American producer, mixer, and songwriter based in Los Angeles. He has worked with artists such as Panic! at the Disco, Set It Off, Issues, New Years Day, Too Close to Touch, I the Mighty, Motionless In White, Blessthefall, I See Stars, Sylar, Attila, and Godsmack. Life and career Early years Erik Ron was born in San Francisco, California, and grew up in the suburb of San Carlos, California, where he attended Carlmont High School. Erik started playing music as a teenager in alternative rock band Impel. After high school, he studied engineering at Musicians Institute College of Contemporary Music in Los Angeles.
