The Trans Mountain Pipeline System, or simply the Trans Mountain Pipeline, is a Pipeline transport, pipeline that carries Petroleum, crude and Petroleum product, refined oil from Alberta to the British Columbia Coast, coast of British Columbia, Canada. The pipeline is currently owned by the Government of Canada through Trans Mountain Corporation, a subsidiary of the federal Crown corporations of Canada, Crown corporation Canada Development Investment Corporation (CDEV). Until the August 31, 2018 purchase by CDEV, the Trans Mountain Pipeline was owned by the Canadian division of Houston, Texas-based pipeline operator Kinder Morgan. Ultrafiltration (UF) is a variety of membrane filtration in which forces such as pressure or concentration gradients lead to a separation through a semipermeable membrane. Suspended solids and solutes of high molecular weight are retained in the so-called retentate, while water and low molecular weight solutes pass through the membrane in the permeate (filtrate). This separation process is used in industry and research for purifying and concentrating macromolecular (103–106 Da) solutions, especially protein solutions. Theban Mapping Project
The Theban Mapping Project is an archaeological expedition devoted to Ancient Egypt. It was established in 1978 by the Egyptologist Dr. Kent R. Weeks at the University of California, Berkeley. In 1985, it was moved to the American University in Cairo. The Project's original goal was to create an archaeological map of the Valley of the Kings, and that was published as the ''Atlas of the Valley of the Kings'' in 2000. Since 2001, the Project has also developed a management plan for the Valley of the Kings, which is funded by the World Monuments Fund. The website had not been online for several years, due to lack of funding. However, with new funds having been made available by the American Research Center in Egypt, it went online again in January 2021, with new features and data. Thomas More Prep-Marian (TMP-M), TMP, is a co-educational Catholic college preparatory high school located in Hays, Kansas in the United States. The original school was founded by the Capuchin Franciscan order. Although now governed by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Salina, the order still maintains a presence in the school. A turbomolecular pump is a type of vacuum pump, superficially similar to a turbopump, used to obtain and maintain high vacuum. These pumps work on the principle that gas molecules can be given momentum in a desired direction by repeated collision with a moving solid surface. In a turbomolecular pump, a rapidly spinning Mechanical fan, fan rotor 'hits' gas molecules from the inlet of the pump towards the exhaust in order to create or maintain a vacuum. Operating principles Most turbomolecular pumps employ multiple stages, each consisting of a quickly rotating Rotor (turbine), rotor blade and stationary stator, stator blade pair.
