The Titusville Commercial District (also known as Downtown Titusville Historic District) is a U.S. historic district in Titusville, Florida. It is bounded by Julia Street, Hopkins Avenue, Main Street, and Indian River Avenue, encompasses approximately , and contains 21 historic buildings. On January 10, 1990, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. SR 50 (FL)
State Road 50 (SR 50) runs across the center of the U.S. state of Florida through Orlando, with its termini at SR 55 (US 19) at Weeki Wachee and SR 5 (U.S. Route 1) in Titusville. SR 50 is signed east–west. Within various counties throughout the state, the highway is signed with various names such as Cortez Boulevard in Hernando County and Colonial Drive in Orange County. The former section includes the concurrency with US 98 between Brooksville and near Ridge Manor. US 98-SR 50 is the only interchange with Interstate 75 in Hernando County. Several portions of SR 50 east of SR 436 follow the original Cheney Highway, which was named for John Moses Cheney and was the first road to the coast from Orlando. State Road 405 (SR 405) is a state highway making a sweeping arc in Titusville, Florida, and, via the nearby NASA Parkway, providing a major access route for the Kennedy Space Center on nearby Merritt Island. The northern terminus of SR 405 is an intersection with North Washington Avenue ( U.S. 1) in downtown Titusville; the eastern terminus is at a cloverleaf interchange with U.S. 1 near the American Police Hall of Fame & Museum.
