Title Tracks
Title Tracks is an American power pop/indie rock solo project from Washington, D.C.-based musician John Davis (formerly of Q and Not U and Georgie James). History In early 2008, although still a member of the band Georgie James, Davis began writing the songs that would form the basis for his first solo record. By the time Georgie James announced its dissolution in the summer of 2008, Davis had already written an album's worth of songs and called his new solo project Title Tracks. He put together a live version of the band that included Michael Cotterman on bass, Andrew Black on drums (both of whom had played in the primary live version of Georgie James) and Merideth Munoz on guitar, keyboards and vocals. In the fall of 2008, that version of the band recorded two songs, "Every Little Bit Hurts" and "Found Out," with producer Chad Clark at Silver Sonya Studios in Washington, D.C. Camera Obscura (band)
Camera Obscura is a Scottish indie pop band from Glasgow. The group formed in 1996, and have released five albums to date – the most recent of which, ''Desire Lines'', was released in 2013. The current members of the band are vocalist Tracyanne Campbell, guitarist Kenny McKeeve, bassist Gavin Dunbar, and drummer Lee Thomson. The band undertook an extended hiatus in 2015, following the death of long-serving keyboardist Carey Lander. The surviving members later reconvened in 2018. The band's bright take on indie pop has been frequently described as "twee pop," and garnered comparisons to fellow Scottish band Belle & Sebastian. The band have also been praised for their "honest, wide, and adult approach to heartbreak, romantic liaisons, and escapism." is a short story by manga author Junji Ito, originally included in ''The Junji Ito Horror Comic Collection''. A one-hour Japanese television drama adaptation was broadcast in 2000. The adaptation was directed by Higuchinsky, whose film adaptation of Ito's ''Uzumaki'' had been released earlier the same year. Davis performed all of the vocals and instruments on the record except for Kriston Capps (saxophone on "No, Girl") and Tracyanne Campbell (vocals on "No, Girl" and "Tougher Than The Rest").
