Tite (football Manager)
Adenor Leonardo Bacchi (born 25 May 1961), commonly known as Tite (), is a Brazilian professional football coach and former player who was the head coach of the Brazil national team from 2016 to 2022. Tite played from 1978 to 1984 for Caxias, then a season for Esportivo de Bento Gonçalves and a season for Portuguesa. The three following seasons from 1986 to 1989 at Guarani were his most successful as player. At age 27, he ended his career due to successive knee injuries that caused him to lose mobility in one of his knees. From 1991 onwards, Tite coached more than 10 teams in more than 15 stints. Amongst these were his first club, Caxias that he returned to in 1999, and they won the 2000 Campeonato Gaúcho defeating Grêmio, which had Ronaldinho in its team. Due to the achievements with Caxias, Tite became the Grêmio coach in 2001 where they won the 2001 Campeonato Gaúcho and the 2001 Copa do Brasil. The Brazil national football team ( pt, Seleção Brasileira de Futebol), nicknamed ''Seleção Canarinho'' (‘Canary Squad’, after their bright yellow jersey), represents Brazil in men's international football and is administered by the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF), the governing body for football in Brazil. 2012 FIFA Club World Cup
The 2012 FIFA Club World Cup (officially known as the FIFA Club World Cup Japan 2012 presented by Toyota for sponsorship reasons) was a football tournament that was played from 6 to 16 December 2012. It was the ninth edition of the FIFA Club World Cup, a FIFA-organised tournament between the winners of the six continental confederations as well as the host nation's league champions. The tournament was hosted by Japan. Defending champions Barcelona did not qualify as they were eliminated in the semi-finals of the 2011–12 UEFA Champions League by eventual champions Chelsea. 2012 Copa Libertadores
The 2012 Copa Libertadores de América (officially the 2012 Copa Santander Libertadores for sponsorship reasons) was the 53rd edition of the Copa Libertadores de América, South America's premier international club football tournament organized by CONMEBOL. It ran from January 24 to July 4, 2012. Santos were the defending champions, but lost to Corinthians in the semifinals. São Paulo-based club Corinthians won the competition, with an undefeated campaign, after defeating six-time champion Boca Juniors in the finals. It is Corinthians' first Libertadores title. The 89th season of the Campeonato Gaúcho kicked off on January 20 and ended on April 19. Repeating the 2008 final score, Sport Club Internacional, Internacional clinched their 39th title – second consecutive – after beating Sociedade Esportiva e Recreativa Caxias do Sul, Caxias 8–1 in the ''Taça Fábio Koff'' final. As Sport Club Internacional, Internacional had already won ''Taça Fernando Carvalho'', beating city rivals Grêmio Foot-Ball Porto Alegrense, Grêmio 2–1 in the final, Campeonato Gaúcho finals were unnecessary. The 2008 Copa Sudamericana de Clubes was the seventh edition of the Copa Sudamericana football tournament. The draw for the tournament took place on June 10, 2008 in Buenos Aires and the competition was played between July 30 and December 3. Arsenal de Sarandí were the defending champions, having won the trophy the previous season. Brazilian side Internacional won the 2008 tournament, becoming the first Brazilian winners of the trophy. The Copa do Brasil 2001 was the 13th staging of the Copa do Brasil. The competition started on March 14, 2001 and concluded on June 13, 2001 with the second leg of the final, held at the Estádio do Morumbi in São Paulo, in which Grêmio lifted the trophy for the fourth time with a 3-1 victory over Corinthians. Washington, of Ponte Preta, with 12 goals, was the competition's topscorer. 2021 Copa América
The 2021 Copa América was the 47th edition of the Copa América, the international men's football championship organised by South America's football ruling body CONMEBOL. The tournament took place in Brazil from 13 June to 10 July 2021. The tournament was originally scheduled to take place from 12 June to 12 July 2020 in Argentina and Colombia as the 2020 Copa América.
