Tirunnavaya railway station is the railway station located at Edakkulam- Tirunavaya, Malappuram, Kerala. The station code of Tirunnavaya is TUA (Code:TUA). It comes under the Palakkad Railway Division of the Southern Railway. It is the third largest railway station in the Malappuram district, this is the oldest railway station in Kerala. It is a major railway station serving the town of Tirunavaya and Puthanathani in Malappuram district of Kerala. History Tirunavaya is a popular tourist destination located at a distance of south of Tirur in Malappuram district. The place is located on the banks of the Nila River. Tirunavaya Railway Station is located at Edakulam in Tirunavaya Grama Panchayat. Many years ago, Edakkulam was the largest trading center in the panchayat.
