Marcial "Mars" Ravelo (October 9, 1916 – September 12, 1988) was a Filipino comic book cartoonist and graphic novelist who created ''Darna, Dyesebel, Captain Barbell, Lastikman'', ''Bondying'', '' Varga'', ''Wanted: Perfect Mother'', ''Hiwaga'', ''Maruja'', ''Mariposa'', ''Roberta'', ''Rita'', ''Buhay Pilipino,'' ''Jack and Jill'', ''Flash Bomba'', ''Tiny Tony'', and '' Dragonna'' among others. Early life Mars Ravelo was born on October 9, 1916, when America still occupied the Philippines. Career Ravelo started out as a cartoonist, then as a writer, and later on as editor-in-chief for two publications houses and for several film companies. He later established his own company, RAR. ''Komiks'' () is a Philippine television fantasy-drama anthology broadcast by ABS-CBN from February 4, 2006, to August 8, 2009, spanned for three years. John Prats
John Paulo Quiambao Prats (born February 14, 1984) is a Filipino comedian, actor, dancer, TV host, director, model and entrepreneur. He started as a child star in year 1992. He is the older brother of actress and former child-star Camille Prats. He was also a former member of the band, JCS. Prats was a member of ABS-CBN's circle of homegrown talents named Talent Center, now called Star Magic and now currently managed by Cornerstone Entertainment Inc.
