Adam Paul Tinley (born 4 December 1967), known professionally as Adamski, as well as Sonny Eriksson, is an English DJ, musician, singer and record producer, prominent at the time of acid house for his tracks " N-R-G" and "Killer", a collaboration with Seal, which was a No. 1 song in the UK in 1990. Career Tinley was born in Lymington, Hampshire, England. As a youngster, influenced by punk rock and John Peel, he formed his first band The Stupid Babies when he was 11 and living in New Forest in England. He persuaded his 5-year-old brother Dominic to sing while he strummed a small guitar, and sent a demo tape to the indie label Fast Product, run by The Human League's manager Bob Last. "Everyone thought that was a really precocious and strange thing for an 11 year-old to do," Adamski recalls "but I just thought that's what everybody did". Cris Tinley
Robert Crispin Tinley (25 October 1830 – 11 December 1900) was an English first-class cricketer in the mid-19th century who was recognised as one of the best slow bowlers of his time. Tinley was born at Southwell, Nottinghamshire, and played for Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club and the All-England Eleven. He batted right-handed and was a right-arm slow bowler of underarm lobs. Tinley made his first-class debut in the 1847 season and made 117 appearances between then and the 1874 season. He took 309 wickets at an average of 14.46 with a best analysis of 8 for 12 (in a match in which he also took 7 for 66 in the second innings). He took 10 wickets in a match on five occasions. He was a useful tail-end batsman who made three fifties with a highest score of 56. He scored 2004 runs in all at an average of 11.38. Mark Tinley
Mark Ty-Wharton (born Mark Tinley; 18 March 1963) is a British music technologist, informal logician and public speaker who specialises in presentations using sound art. He is best known for his work as a guitarist, programmer, sound engineer and record producer with Adamski, Duran Duran, TV Mania, Gary Numan, Glenn Gregory, The Dandy Warhols and others. Bands In 1982, he formed the band Peeping Toms with Shaun Morris, and left several months later when they found a bass player; the band has continued to play, in various configurations, for over two decades. Peter Charles Tinley (born 9 July 1962) is an Australian politician and former soldier. Peter has been a Labor Party member of the Western Australian Legislative Assembly since November 2009, representing the electorate of Willagee. Early life and military career Born in the northern Perth suburb of Karrinyup, Tinley joined the Australian Army in 1981 and graduated from Royal Military College, Duntroon, earning the Queen's Medal as the cadet graduating top of his class. He spent 17 of his 25 years in the army in the Special Air Service Regiment (SASR). In 2002, he was the lead tactical planner for Australia's special forces advising the United States, and in 2003 he served as Deputy Commander for the Special Forces Task Group in Iraq. Scott Tinley
Scott Tinley (born October 25, 1956) is a former professional triathlete and two-time winner of the Ironman World Championships in Hawaii. In the 1980s Tinley dominated the sport of triathlon together with Mark Allen, Dave Scott and Scott Molina. Tinley was inducted into the Ironman Hall of Fame in 1996. Now retired, Tinley is a writer, teacher, and ocean lifeguard. His latest book, In the Wake of Our Past, is a character-driven, work of historical fiction that focuses on a returning Vietnam War vet. His previous book, ''Racing the Sunset'', a journey through athlete retirement and the larger issues of life transition and change, is the result of one of the most thorough research projects ever attempted on retiring athletes. Tinley Moraine
The Tinley Moraine is a moraine around the Lake Michigan basin in North America. It was formed during the Wisconsin Glaciation and is younger than the higher and wider terminal moraine called the Valparaiso Moraine, which is located farther from the lake than the Tinley Moraine. Compared to the Valparaiso Moraine, the Tinley Moraine is much narrower and occupies a similar swath, about closer to Lake Michigan, and passes through the communities of Flossmoor, Western Springs, and Arlington Heights. The moraine was named after the village of Tinley Park, a village southwest of Chicago that lies on the moraine. The Tinley Moraine is a secondary ridge north of the Valparaiso Morainic System.
