Tinashe Jorgensen Kachingwe ( ; born February 6, 1993), known mononymously as Tinashe, is an American singer, dancer, and actress. Born in Lexington, Kentucky, Tinashe moved to Pasadena as a child to pursue a career in entertainment. Her notable roles included as a motion-capture model in the animated film ''The Polar Express'' (2004), Robin Wheeler in the Cartoon Network television series ''Out of Jimmy's Head'' (2007–2008), and a recurring role in the CBS series ''Two and a Half Men'' (2008–2009). Between 2007 and 2011, Tinashe was a member of the girl group the Stunners. ''In Case We Die'' is the debut mixtape by American recording artist Tinashe, first released on February 1, 2012 via heofficial website The mixtape was released following a four-year stint as lead singer of girl group The Stunners and her array of non-album singles, including a collaboration with producers OFM, "Artificial People", in 2011. As executive producer, Tinashe enlisted a variety of musical producers including B. Hendrixx, Wes Tarte, K-BeatZ, Yung Shaq aka now PianoBoy, J. Mixx, Myles Morgan. Bobby Brackins and producing partner Nic Nac were involved as well. Musically the project envelops a new sound for Tinashe, leaving behind her previous dance-pop sounds heard in the band for a contemporary PBR&B, alternative dance, R&B, hip hop sound. "All My Friends" is a song by British production duo Snakehips, featuring American recording artists Tinashe and Chance the Rapper. It was released as a single on 21 October 2015 by Sony Music UK and Columbia Records. It won the Ivor Novello Award for Best Contemporary Song in May 2016. Background and composition On Genius, Snakehips summarised the song: "We wanted to make something that had a classic hip-hop groove and gospel vibes but then have some modern more electronic sounds going on too. Chancelor Johnathan Bennett (born April 16, 1993), known professionally as Chance the Rapper, is an American rapper, singer-songwriter, and record producer. Snakehips are a British electronic music duo. The line-up consists of Oliver Lee and James Carter. Snakehips made their name with Hype Machine doing remixes for Banks, The Weeknd, Bondax and Wild Belle. They are best known for their 2015 single, " All My Friends". Early life Oliver Lee was educated at the Skinners' School, in Tunbridge Wells. Oliver Lee started out in music at a young age in the late 2000s, playing a variety of instruments, from keyboard to tambourine, for mariachi bands. He paid his dues whilst in the band, with his repertoire consisting of popular covers of hits from the era, a practice typical for the time. The Rhythmic chart (also called Rhythmic Airplay, and previously named Rhythmic Songs, Rhythmic Top 40 and CHR/Rhythmic) is an airplay chart published weekly by ''Billboard'' magazine. The chart tracks and measures the airplay of songs played on rhythmic radio stations, whose playlist includes mostly hit-driven R&B/hip-hop, rhythmic pop, and some dance tracks. Nielsen Audio sometimes refers to the format as rhythmic contemporary hit radio. Dijon Isaiah McFarlane (born June 5, 1990), known professionally as Mustard (also known as DJ Mustard), is an American record producer and beatmaker. He is a frequent collaborator of fellow California-bred artists YG and Ty Dolla Sign; among various other records for the hip hop and R&B genres since his entrance into mainstream music with Tyga's 2011 single, "Rack City". Mustard's production style has been described as an up-tempo, club-oriented, catchy yet rudimentary melodic hip hop style. This style has developed into the contemporary production style of West Coast hip hop during the early 2010s, which he calls " ratchet music". Quincy Matthew Hanley (born October 26, 1986), better known by his stage name Schoolboy Q (stylized as ScHoolboy Q), is an American rapper. In 2009, Hanley signed to Carson-based independent record label Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE) and in late 2011, secured a recording contract with major label Interscope Records.
