Tinapa Resort
Tinapa is a business and leisure resort located North of Calabar municipality, Cross River State, Nigeria associated with the Calabar Free Trade Zone. It was developed in four phases under a Private Public Partnership (PPP) promoted by the Government of Cross River State. The resort is located by the Calabar River, contiguous with the Calabar Free Trade Zone. Tinapa Lake
Tinapa ''Tinapa'', a Filipino term, is fish cooked or preserved through the process of smoking. It is a native delicacy in the Philippines and is often made from blackfin scad (''Alepes melanoptera'', known locally as ''galunggong''), or from milkfish, which is locally known as ''bangus''. Though canned ''tinapa'' in tomato sauce is common and sold commercially throughout the country, it is also still produced and sold traditionally or prepared at home. ''Tinapa'' recipe mainly involves the process of washing the fish and putting it in brine for an extended amount of time (usually 5 – 6 hours), air drying and finally smoking the fish. The Calabar International Convention Centre it's found located in Calabar, Cross River, Nigeria. It opened in the third quarter of 2015. About Calabar International Convention Centre Calabar International Convention Centre (CICC) consists of four adjoining sculptural volumes called blocks. Liyel Imoke (born 10 July 1961) was elected governor of Cross River State, Nigeria in April 2007, taking office on 29 May 2007. He is a member of the People's Democratic Party (PDP). Background Liyel Imoke hails from Agbo tribe in Abi Local Government Area of Cross River State.
