Timpanogos Storytelling Festival
The Timpanogos Storytelling Festival takes place Labor Day weekend at the end of each summer in Lehi, Utah. The festival draws a combined attendance of about 26,000 people each year, making it one of the largest storytelling festival in the United States. The festival typically lasts two days and invites professional storytellers from throughout the United States. Lehi, Utah
Lehi ( ) is a city in Utah County, Utah, United States. It is named after Lehi, a prophet in the Book of Mormon. The population was 75,907 at the 2020 census, up from 47,407 in 2010. Storytelling Festival
A storytelling festival is an event that features local, regional and/or nationally known oral storytellers. Each storyteller will have a scheduled amount of time to share a story (or stories) with an audience. The featured storytellers are often professional performing artists, but semi-professional or amateur storytellers may also be included among the events. A festival may be a single or multiple day event. Depending upon the venue, the festival schedule is organized around blocks of time for the storytellers to share their stories. Orem is a city in Utah County, Utah, United States, in the northern part of the state. It is adjacent to Provo, Lindon, and Vineyard and is approximately south of Salt Lake City. James Arrington
James Arrington (born 12 September 1952) is an American stage actor, director, playwright and scholar. His plays are about the people or the culture of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church). Arrington studied at the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco and has a master's degree from Brigham Young University. He was twice the Department Chair for the Department of Theatrical Arts for Stage and Screen at Utah Valley University. Arrington is the son of LDS historian Leonard J. Arrington.
