Timothy Dugan
Timothy G. Dugan (born October 9, 1953) is an American lawyer and jurist from Milwaukee County, Wisconsin. He served as a judge of the Wisconsin Court of Appeals in the Milwaukee-based 1st district from 2016 through 2023. Prior to the Court of Appeals, he served 13 years as a Wisconsin circuit court judge in Milwaukee County. Biography Born in Milford, Connecticut, Dugan graduated from Westminster College in pennsylvania in 1975. He then received his Juris Doctor degree from Marquette University Law School in 1978. He lived in Shorewood, Wisconsin. In 1992, Dugan was appointed to the Wisconsin Circuit Court in Milwaukee County by Governor Tommy Thompson. He was re-elected to the Circuit Court without opposition in 1993, 1999, 2005, and 2011. During his judicial career, Judge Dugan has been President of the Milwaukee Trial Judges Association and served as the Associate Dean of the Wisconsin Judicial College. Wisconsin Court Of Appeals
The Wisconsin Court of Appeals is an intermediate appellate court that reviews contested decisions of the Wisconsin circuit courts. The Court of Appeals was created in August 1978 to alleviate the Wisconsin Supreme Court's rising number of appellate cases. Published Court of Appeals opinions are considered binding precedent until overruled by the Supreme Court; unpublished opinions are not. The Court hears most appeals in three-judge panels, but appeals of circuit court decisions in misdemeanor, small claims, and municipal ordinance cases are decided by a single judge. WISN-TV (channel 12) is a television station in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States, affiliated with ABC. Owned by Hearst Television, it is the second-oldest television station to remain with the company in all of its various iterations behind flagship WBAL-TV in Baltimore. Wisconsin Elections Commission
The Wisconsin Elections Commission is a bipartisan regulatory agency of the State of Wisconsin established to administer and enforce election laws in the state. The Wisconsin Elections Commission was established by a 2015 act of the Wisconsin Legislature which also established the Wisconsin Ethics Commission to administer campaign finance, ethics, and lobbying laws. The two commissions began operation on June 30, 2016, replacing the Wisconsin Government Accountability Board (GAB), which was abolished. The Government Accountability Board had been established in 2008 to replace the Wisconsin Elections Board and Wisconsin Ethics Board. Wisconsin Supreme Court
The Wisconsin Supreme Court is the highest appellate court in Wisconsin. The Supreme Court has jurisdiction over original actions, appeals from lower courts, and regulation or administration of the practice of law in Wisconsin. Rebecca Lynn Grassl Bradley (born August 2, 1971) is an American lawyer and justice of the Wisconsin Supreme Court, serving since 2015. She has been a state judge in Wisconsin since 2012.
