Timmy Hammersley
Timmy Hammersley (born 12 December 1987) is an Irish sportsperson. He plays hurling with his local club Clonoulty–Rossmore and with the Tipperary senior inter-county team. Career Hammersley was part of the Tipperary Under 21 Hurling panel in 2007 and 2008. He was the top scorer in the 2010 Fitzgibbon Cup helping Waterford Institute of Technology to finish as runners-up, he scored 1-11 in the final. He made his National Hurling League debut as a substitute against Galway in March 2010, and started his first game on 21 March against Limerick where he scored 1-4 in a 2-24 to 0-8 win. On 30 May 2010, Hammersley made his Championship debut coming on as a second-half substitute to score a point against Cork in the Munster Senior Hurling Championship quarter-final in Páirc Uí Chaoimh. Clonmel
Clonmel () is the county town and largest settlement of County Tipperary, Republic of Ireland, Ireland. The town is noted in Irish history for its resistance to the Cromwellian conquest of Ireland, Cromwellian army which sacked the towns of Drogheda and Wexford. 2018 Tipperary Senior Hurling Championship
The 2018 Tipperary Senior Hurling Championship was the 128th staging of the Tipperary Senior Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Tipperary County Board in 1887. The draw for the 2018 group stage took place on 29 January 2018. The championship began on 14 April 2018 and ended on 21 October 2018. Thurles Sarsfields were the defending champions, however, they were defeated by Nenagh Éire Óg at the semi-final stage. On 21 October 2018, Clonoulty-Rossmore won the championship after a 0–23 to 2–13 defeat of Nenagh Éire Óg in the final at Semple Stadium. Brian Kerr (Irish Football Manager)
Brian Kerr (born 3 March 1953) is an Irish football manager. Born in Dublin, Kerr grew up playing football and boxing. At the age of 13, he took his first coaching role with the Crumlin United under-11 side. Realising later that he didn't have the talent to become a top player, he decided to focus on coaching. In 1986, he was appointed manager of the League of Ireland side St Patrick's Athletic. In 1992, when the club was facing liquidation, Kerr was among the investors who raised IR£82,000 to help save the club. In December 1996, he left St Patrick's to become the technical director of the Football Association of Ireland. Kerr worked with the Republic of Ireland youth squads and also with the senior side.
