Drew Timme
Andrew Matthew Timme (; born September 9, 2000) is an American college basketball player for the Gonzaga Bulldogs of the West Coast Conference (WCC). Early life and high school career Timme grew up in the northern Dallas suburb of Richardson, Texas and attended J. J. Pearce High School. As a junior, he averaged 27.7 points, 17.9 rebounds and 4.3 assists and was named the District 8-6A Most Valuable Player and second team All-State by USA Today. Timme was consensus top-50 prospect in the 2019 class among major recruiting services. He committed to playing college basketball for Gonzaga in November of his senior year after considering offers from Texas A&M, Texas, Michigan State, Illinois, Arizona and Alabama. Ernst Timme
Ernst Gerhardt Timme (June 23, 1843April 1, 1923) was a German American immigrant, farmer, and Republican politician. He was the 13th Secretary of State of Wisconsin (1882–1891) and a member of the Wisconsin State Senate, representing Racine and Kenosha counties. He was a Union Army volunteer in the American Civil War and lost an arm at the Battle of Chickamauga. Early life Timme was born in Werden, a borough of the city of Essen, in what is now western Germany. At the time of his birth, this region was part of the Rhine Province, part of the Kingdom of Prussia. At age 5, Timme emigrated with his parents to the United States by sea. The voyage was difficult, the boat was shipwrecked twice during the crossing, and ultimately took seven weeks to reach its destination. Baron Timme Rosenkrantz (July 6, 1911 – August 11, 1969) was a Danish aristocrat, author and jazz enthusiast. Rosenkrantz was an early supporter of African American jazz musicians and promoted many concerts and recordings. He also produced a 1938 session for the Victor label, assembling Rex Stewart, Don Byas, Russell Procope, Tyree Glenn, Jo Jones and others as Timme Rosenkrantz and His Barrelhouse Barons. His private 1944 acetates of Erroll Garner, which subsequently saw release on Blue Note and other labels, were the pianist's first recordings. Rosenkrantz organized the 1946 European tour of an all-star band led by Don Redman, the first American jazz group to visit Copenhagen and Stockholm after World War II. A man of great humor, Rosenkrantz wrote witty short stories and vignettes for a number of publications, including '' Esquire'' magazine.
