It is hosted by Bill Dod. Format On each edition, three contestants were given five minutes of time at the outset and attempted to protect as much of it as possible. After four rounds, the contestant with the most time remaining on their clock won the game and went on to play the "March Against Time" final challenge. Results of this challenge were entered on a leaderboard; the contestants with the best standings during a series returned at its end to play for a major prize. New Broadcasting House (Manchester)
New Broadcasting House (NBH) was the BBC's North West England headquarters on Oxford Road in Chorlton-on-Medlock, Manchester. The studios housed BBC Manchester, BBC North West, the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra and the BBC Religion and Ethics department. It was known as a Network Production Centre, the others being in Birmingham (the now also demolished Pebble Mill Studios) and Broadcasting House, Bristol. New Broadcasting House was vacated during autumn 2011 when the departments were relocated to MediaCityUK outside of central Manchester in Salford Quays. The building was demolished in 2012. Architecture and construction New Broadcasting House was built on a site bounded by Oxford Road, Charles Street, Princess Street and Brancaster Road. BBC One
BBC One is a British free-to-air public broadcast television network owned and operated by the BBC. BBC Genome Project
The BBC Genome Project is an online searchable database of programme listings initially based upon the contents of the ''Radio Times'' from the first issue in 1923 to 2009. Television listings from post-2009 can be accessed via the BBC Programmes site. History Prior BBC Genome is not the first online searchable database. In April 2006, they gave the public access to Infax – their only electronic programme database at the time. It contained around 900,000 entries but not every programme ever broadcast, and it ceased operation in December 2007. The front page of the website is still available to see via the Internet Archive. After Infax ceased, a message on the website said that it would be incorporating in the information into individual programme pages. In 2012, Infax was replaced by the database Fabric but this is only for internal use within the BBC.
