Tim Skold
Tim Skold (born Thim Sköld) is a Swedish musician and record producer who produces solo work and has also collaborated with multiple musical groups including Shotgun Messiah, KMFDM, Marilyn Manson and Motionless in White. Biography Early life Skold grew up in Timmersdala, 21 kilometres northwest of Skövde. He has a sister named Linda. Skold grew up in a very liberal setting as the son of a 15-year-old mother named Åse and a father trying to get by as a semi-professional drummer. At age 11, Skold joined a playback band (where the band mimes over recorded material). Skold's band would play for people at school meetings with Kiss, Bowie and Sweet songs playing on a cassette player. Skold first rented a bass guitar at age 12, and by the time he was 13, he was playing and singing in his first real band. Marilyn Manson (band)
Marilyn Manson is an American Rock music, rock band formed by namesake lead singer Marilyn Manson and guitarist Daisy Berkowitz in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in 1989. Originally named Marilyn Manson & the Spooky Kids, they gained a local cult following in South Florida in the early 1990s with their theatrical live performances. In 1993, they were the first act signed to Trent Reznor's Nothing Records label. Shotgun Messiah was a Swedish glam metal band originally from Skövde formed by guitarist Harry Cody (musician), Harry Cody, bassist Tim Skold, and drummer Stixx Galore. Cody and Skold were the mainstays of the band, and along with various personnel released three albums—''Shotgun Messiah'', ''Second Coming'' and ''Violent New Breed.'' Shotgun Messiah disbanded in 1993. Zodiac Mindwarp and the Love Reaction are a British hard rock group, which was formed in 1985. Zodiac Mindwarp and the Love Reaction play a sleazy style of commercial hard rock featuring big riffs and choruses, as was the trend in the band's heyday of the mid-to-late 1980s and early 1990s. The camp lyrics are intended as self-parody, and can be seen as either humorous, or offensive by those who take them at face value, for their often lascivious and misogynist tone. Harry Cody (musician)
Harry Cody is a Swedish songwriter, composer, and guitarist. He was a founding member of the glam metal and industrial band Shotgun Messiah, before joining Coma and founding Das Cabal. He has recorded with Tom Waits, among others. Cody has composed scores for film and television commercials. Early life Cody was born in Surahammar and moved to Skövde at age seven. He grew up influenced by a variety of rock and roll guitar players such as Chuck Berry, Scotty Moore (Elvis Presley), and Eddie Van Halen, among others. After finishing school, Cody worked for Volvo, and also served in the Swedish army. He quit his job to focus on music. Career In 1983, Cody met Tim Skold, a bassist in Skövde, and they began playing together. Two years later, going by the name Harry K. The Sweet
The Sweet (often shortened to just Sweet), are a British glam rock band that rose to prominence in the 1970s. Their best known line-up consisted of lead vocalist Brian Connolly, bass player Steve Priest, guitarist Andy Scott, and drummer Mick Tucker. The group were originally called The Sweetshop. Psyclon Nine is an American band formed in 2000 in San Francisco, CA, known for their unique blend of electronic, industrial metal.
