Tim Roxborogh
Tim Roxborogh is a New Zealand media personality, travel-writer and music reviewer. He is co-host of ''The Weekend Collective'' on Newstalk ZB and the ''Trip Notes'' podcast by NZH Travel. Early life The youngest child of John & Jenny Roxborogh, a Presbyterian minister and English teacher respectively, Tim's parents moved their young family from New Zealand to Malaysia when he was only one and a half years old. Career Upon returning to New Zealand, while still in high school, Tim's knowledge of the Bee Gees enabled him to win a radio competition through Classic Hits. The prize included a meeting with the Bee Gees backstage on their 1999 tour to New Zealand. Pam Corkery
Pamela Corkery (born 1956) is a New Zealand journalist, broadcaster, and former politician who served one term (1996–1999) as a member of Parliament for the left-wing Alliance party. Private life Corkery (née Mc Nutt) was born in the South Island, and grew up in Dunedin. She has been married three times, and has two children. Member of Parliament A well-known journalist and talk-back host in New Zealand, she first entered politics standing as an independent candidate for the Auckland mayoralty in 1995. Tim Wilson is a former New Zealand journalist and broadcaster, who is currently the executive director of the Maxim Institute. Early life and family Wilson was born in Dunedin and adopted by a Presbyterian minister who relocated the family to Pōkeno and then to New Plymouth and finally Whanganui when Wilson was a teenager. Wilson studied at the University of Auckland. While working in New York, Wilson converted to Catholicism. He met his future wife, Rachel, a former primary school teacher, in a Catholic church in Auckland; the couple have three sons. The Internet Party was a registered political party in New Zealand that promoted Internet freedom and privacy. The party was founded in January 2014 with the financial support and promotion of internet entrepreneur Kim Dotcom, and was first led by former Alliance MP Laila Harré, then by citizen journalist Suzie Dawson. The party contested the 2014 New Zealand election as part of an electoral alliance with the Mana Movement. It also contested the 2017 general election, independent of Mana. In both cases it did not win any seats in the New Zealand House of Representatives. Mix was a greatest hits radio station in New Zealand, broadcasting music from the 70s, 80s and 90s. Mix was owned and operated by New Zealand Media and Entertainment. Mix is targeted at 35 to 54-year-olds. Its head office and studios were located in central Auckland, alongside New Zealand Media and Entertainment's seven other radio networks. Peter Charles Sinclair (15 November 1938 – 8 August 2001) was an Australian-born New Zealand television personality and radio host. Biography Born in Sydney, Australia, Sinclair rose to fame in the 1960s and early 1970s firstly on New Zealand radio and then as host of ''Let's Go'', ''Happen Inn'' and ''C'mon'', New Zealand's primary rock music television shows of the time. In the late 1970s he reinvented his place in New Zealand television as presenter and quizmaster on ''University Challenge'' and ''Mastermind'', two popular television quiz shows which ran until the late 1980s. The Hits (radio Station)
The Hits is a Hot adult contemporary music radio network, broadcasting to 26 markets across New Zealand. It was set up by Government broadcaster Radio New Zealand in 1993 by consolidating existing stations into a single brand and has been privately owned since 1996. The Hits has had the broadest broadcast reach of any radio network in the country since 1996, and is now available on 40 full-power FM frequencies and 18 iHeartRadio streams. Most of the individual stations started out as local AM stations owned by state broadcaster Radio New Zealand.
