Tim Murphy (Australian Footballer)
Timothy John Murphy (22 July 1878 – 1 January 1902) was an Australian rules footballer who played with St Kilda in the Victorian Football League (VFL). He was appointed as a police constable in April 1901 and played one game for St Kilda before being posted to Mildura. Australian football, also called Australian rules football or Aussie rules, or more simply football or footy, is a contact sport played between two teams of 18 players on an oval field, often a modified cricket ground. Typhoid fever, also known as typhoid, is a disease caused by '' Salmonella'' serotype Typhi bacteria. Symptoms vary from mild to severe, and usually begin six to 30 days after exposure.
