Tim Miner
Tim Miner is an American gospel/ R&B singer-songwriter and instrumentalist. He has also produced, arranged, and/or composed music for/with many other artists. Miner released three albums on Christian labels in the 1980s before releasing a self-titled album on Motown Records, which is a reworking of his previous album, ''True Story'', with new material. Urban Contemporary Gospel
Urban/contemporary gospel is a modern subgenre of gospel music. Although the style developed gradually, early forms are generally dated to the 1970s, and the genre was well established by the end of the 1980s. The radio format is pitched primarily to African-Americans. Christian hip hop can be considered a subtype of this genre. Origins and development Protestant hymns and African-American spirituals make up the basic source material for traditional black gospel music, which in turn is the most significant source of urban/contemporary gospel. Soluna was a music group consisting of four members, all of Hispanic descent – Aurora Rodriguez, America Olivo, Jessica Castellanos, and Christina "T" López.
