Tim Maddren
Timothy Maddren (born 3 March 1984) is a New Zealand-born Australian musician best known as a member of the Australian children's musical group Hi-5. He was a replacement for Nathan Foley in 2008. He left Hi-5 in February 2013 after four years. His replacement was Ainsley Melham. Maddren worked at Hi-5 in three seasons (135 episodes). Early life Maddren was born in Blenheim, New Zealand. He was raised in a musical family and was encouraged from an early age to develop his performing and entertaining skills. He plays guitar, piano, trumpet and drums. Maddren is left-handed. In 2003 Maddren moved to Perth, Australia to study at the WAAPA (Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts) from which he graduated in 2005. Blenheim ( ; mi, Waiharakeke) is the most populous town in the regions of New Zealand, region of Marlborough Region, Marlborough, in the north east of the South Island of New Zealand. ''Altar Boyz'' is a musical comedy with music and lyrics by Gary Adler and Michael Patrick Walker and book by Kevin Del Aguila (based on an idea by Marc J. Kessler and Ken Davenport). ''Hi-5'' is an Australian children's television series, originally produced by Kids Like Us and later Southern Star for the Nine Network, created by Helena Harris and Posie Graeme-Evans. The program is known for its educational content, and for the cast of the program, who became a recognised musical group for children outside of the series, known collectively as Hi-5. It has generated discussion about what is considered appropriate television for children. The series premiered on 12 April 1999 on the Nine Network. ''The Rocky Horror Show'' is a musical with music, lyrics and book by Richard O'Brien.
