Tim Kasten (born 27 January 1983) is a German international rugby union player, playing for the Heidelberger RK in the Rugby-Bundesliga and the German national rugby union team. 2009 London Sevens
The London Sevens is played annually as part of the IRB Sevens World Series for international rugby sevens (seven-a-side version of rugby union). The 2009 competition took place on May 23 and May 24 in London, England, and was the seventh Cup trophy in the 2008-09 IRB Sevens World Series. England won the most prestigious Cup trophy, with an extra time 31-26 victory over New Zealand; Fiji won the Plate trophy, Kenya won the Bowl trophy, and Canada won the Shield trophy. Format The tournament consists of four round-robin pools of four teams. All sixteen teams progress to the knockout stage. National Division Two
National One (last season known as National League 1 and previously known before September 2009 as National Division Two), is the third of three national leagues in the domestic rugby union competition of England. It was known as Courage League National Division Three when founded in 1987. Caldy are the current champions. The Rugby Football Union (RFU) approved a new structure for the National Leagues from the 2022–23 season. This division will be reduced to fourteen teams, playing each other on a home and away basis to make a total of 26 matches each. The champions are promoted to the RFU Championship and the bottom three teams are relegated to either National Two East, National Two North or National Two West depending on the geographical location of the team. European Nations Cup (rugby Union)
The Rugby Europe International Championships is the European Championship for tier 2 and tier 3 rugby union nations. The tournament is split into 5 levels, each with 5 or 6 teams. Its highest level is now called the Rugby Europe Championship and, unofficially, referred to as the Six Nations B.
