Tim Hummel
Timothy Robert Hummel (born November 18, 1978 in Goshen, New York) is a former Major League Baseball player who played for the Cincinnati Reds in and . He was drafted by the Chicago White Sox in the 2nd round of the 2000 Major League Baseball Draft and made his debut with the Cincinnati Reds on August 26, 2003. Amateur career Hummel was drafted out of high school in the 5th round of the 1997 Major League Baseball Draft by the San Diego Padres, but did not sign, opting to attend Old Dominion University. In 1998 he played collegiate summer baseball with the Bourne Braves of the Cape Cod Baseball League, and returned to the league in 1999 and was named a league all-star for the Orleans Cardinals. An infielder is a baseball player stationed at one of four defensive "infield" positions on the baseball field. Standard arrangement of positions In a game of baseball, two teams of nine players take turns playing offensive and defensive roles. Although there are many rules to baseball, in general the team playing offense tries to score runs by batting balls into the field that enable runners to make a complete circuit of the four bases. Scott Sullivan (baseball)
William Scott Sullivan (born March 13, 1971) is an American former professional baseball player. He played as a right-handed pitcher in Major League Baseball between 1995 and 2004. Born in Alabama, he played high school baseball in Pickens County, Alabama with Terry Pearson (baseball), Terry Pearson. He played college baseball at Auburn University for the Auburn Tigers baseball, Auburn Tigers. From 1996–2003, Sullivan was one of the Cincinnati Reds's most durable relief pitchers, and was looked upon as a clubhouse leader. He set a club record by pitching at least 100 innings of relief every season from 1998-2001. His best season came in 1999, a year in which the Reds won 96 games but did not make the postseason after losing a one-game playoff to the New York Mets. Michael Cuddyer
Michael Brent Cuddyer (; born March 27, 1979) is an American former professional baseball outfielder who played 15 seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Minnesota Twins, Colorado Rockies, and New York Mets. He batted and threw right-handed. Cuddyer was a two-time MLB All-Star, and won a Silver Slugger Award in 2013, when he led the National League in batting average. Cuddyer announced his retirement after the 2015 season. He was inducted into the Minnesota Twins Hall of Fame on August 19, 2017. Justin Irvin Upton (born August 25, 1987) is an American professional baseball outfielder who is currently a free agent. Nicknamed "J-Up", he has previously played in MLB for the Arizona Diamondbacks, Atlanta Braves, San Diego Padres, Detroit Tigers, Los Angeles Angels, and Seattle Mariners. Charlotte Knights
The Charlotte Knights are a Minor League Baseball team of the International League and the Triple-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox. They are located in Charlotte, North Carolina, and play their home games at Truist Field, which opened in 2014 and is located in Uptown Charlotte. The team previously played at Knights Park (1976–1988), Knights Castle (1989), and Knights Stadium (1990–2013). Established as a Double-A franchise of the Southern League in 1976, the team was known as the Charlotte Orioles, or Charlotte O's, through 1987. The O's won the Southern League championship twice: in 1980 and 1984 as the Double-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles. They were rebranded as the Knights in 1988.
