Tim Goldsworthy
Tim Goldsworthy is a British record producer, DJ and recording artist. Career Originally a musician/producer for Unkle with James Lavelle, he later worked with James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem and was formerly joint owner of DFA Records. Goldsworthy was sued in March 2013 by Murphy and DFA Records for "breach of contract" and "unjust enrichment". Goldsworthy's friendship with Murphy is rumoured to be the subject of the song "How Do You Sleep?" from LCD Soundsystem's album ''American Dream''. Originally working in the electronic genre, he has produced for dance-punk bands like The Rapture, Hercules & Love Affair and Cut Copy. He also produced David Holmes' ''Let's Get Killed'' and remixed artists such as Radio 4, Prints, Maserati and Home Video under the name ''The Loving Hand'' (or ''Thee Loving Hand''). Alexis Taylor (born 20 April 1980) is an English singer, songwriter, and musician. He is best known as the lead vocalist, keyboardist, and guitarist of the band Hot Chip. He is also the keyboardist of the band About Group and has released solo material. Early life Alexis Taylor was born in London on 20 April 1980, the son of a Greek mother and an English father. His mother is a psychoanalyst, while his father is a professor of English at a university. Career Taylor formed Hot Chip with Joe Goddard while at Elliot Secondary School in the Putney area of London. He studied English at Jesus College, Cambridge from 1999 to 2002, during which time Hot Chip played a variety of gigs (with various line-ups) at Cambridge's live music venues. In 2007, Taylor and Hot Chip produced a two-song album, ''Doubleshaw'', as Booji Boy High under the pseudonyms Georgios Panayiotou and Mother Markzbow. Massive Attack are an English trip hop collective formed in 1988 in Bristol by Robert "3D" Del Naja, Adrian "Tricky" Thaws, Andrew "Mushroom" Vowles and Grant "Daddy G" Marshall. Home Video is an American electronic Rock music, rock duo from Brooklyn, New York, composed of David Gross (keyboard/bass/sequencer) and Collin Ruffino (vocals/guitar). History Originally from New Orleans, David Gross and Collin Ruffino began playing music under the name Home Video when they both moved to New York City. It was there that they were discovered by Warp Records, who put out the band's first two releases in 2004, the single "That You Might" and the ''Citizen EP'', which garnered the attention of such outlets as BBC Radio 1, ''NME'', and ''Rolling Stone''.
