Timothy Jerome Denton, Sr. (born February 2, 1973) is a former American football defensive back in the National Football League. He played for the Washington Redskins in 1998 and 1999, and he played for the San Diego Chargers in 2000. Denton was born in Galveston, Texas. Galveston ( ) is a coastal resort city and port off the Southeast Texas coast on Galveston Island and Pelican Island in the U.S. state of Texas.
