Beca (artist Group)
Beca was a group of artists formed in the 1970s in Wales. The group was formed by Welsh artist Paul Davies (artist), Paul Davies and brought a new national consciousness to late 20th-century art in Wales. Although Beca's importance in Welsh art is still widely unrecognised, it was the instigating movement in the politicalization of art in the country. The group took international trends and methodologies in art and applied them to a Welsh context. The group's artists drew on a diverse range of sources including Arte Povera, Fluxus and Surrealism. Tim Davies (musician)
Tim Davies (born 1972) is an Australian orchestrator and composer for film, television, video games and the concert stage. Education Davies studied percussion and composition at the Queensland Conservatorium in Brisbane, and composition at the Elder Conservatorium and the University of Melbourne. Career After moving to the United States in 1998, he began his career working as a music arranger and orchestrator for numerous features, including ''Plan B, The First $20 Million Is Always the Hardest,'' and ''Missing Brendan.'' Tim Davies (pop Art Artist)
Tim Davies (born 1959, Derbyshire, England) is a British pop art artist, currently living in Hanover, Germany. He is known for intensely colorful drawings nearly always depicting figures and often are related to music or dance. He designed CD covers for musicians like Al Di Meola, Robert Plant and Pink Floyd. Life In 1983 Tim Davies finished art studies at the Camberwell School of Art, London (BA Hons degree in Graphic Arts, Master in Printmaking). At the Central St Martin's School of Art in London he studied from 1983 to 1985 under Norman Ackroyd. In 1991 he had his first solo exhibition in London. Timothy Davies (runner)
Timothy "Tim" Davies (born 1977) is a Welsh athlete who specialises in mountain and fell running. Tim was raised into a family with a farming background and was heavily influenced by the hills surrounding him during his childhood. Davies was fifth in the World Mountain Running Trophy in 2003, also winning a silver medal at the 2004 European Mountain Running Championships in the team event alongside Andi Jones and John Brown. At the European Mountain Running Championships 2006 he finished in seventh position in the individual race, just behind Jones.
