Tim Cowan (born August 17, 1960) is a former American football quarterback who played four seasons in the Canadian Football League (CFL) with the BC Lions and Toronto Argonauts. Lynwood is a city in Los Angeles County, California. At the 2010 census, the city had a total population of 69,772, down from 69,845 at the 2000 census. Lynwood is located near South Gate and Compton in the central portion of the Los Angeles Basin. Patrick Cowan
Patrick Edmund Cowan (born March 23, 1986 in Surrey, British Columbia) is a former American football quarterback. Cowan was previously the starting quarterback at UCLA after starter Ben Olson was injured in the middle of the 2006 season. Cowan was a redshirt sophomore. His best game came when he went 12/21 for 124 yards when the Bruins upset the #2 USC Trojans on December 2, 2006. With the win, the Bruins qualified for the Emerald Bowl against Florida State. Cowan was 15/26 for 240 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions in the loss to Florida State. Cowan and USC linebacker Rey Maualuga will be remembered in the tradition-filled UCLA-USC football rivalry for a violent sideline collision-tackle of Cowan in the 2nd quarter of the 2006 game, which was broadcast to a national television audience. Joseph William Cowan (born September 15, 1984 in Vancouver, British Columbia) is a Canadian-born American former college football wide receiver for the UCLA Bruins. The Washington Huskies football team represents the University of Washington in college football. Washington competes in the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) as a member of the Pac-12 Conference. Husky Stadium, located on campus, has served as the home field for Washington since 1920.
