Tim Coenraad
Tim Coenraad (born 5 June 1985) is an Australian former professional basketball player. He played college basketball for the Nova Southeastern Sharks before playing 14 seasons in the National Basketball League (NBL) with the Illawarra Hawks. He helped the Hawks reach grand finals in 2010 and 2017 and won Club MVP in 2015. Early life and career Coenraad was born in Brisbane, Queensland. In 2004 and 2005, Coenraad played in the Queensland Basketball League (QBL) for the Southern Districts Spartans. He was named QBL Youth Player of the Year and All-League Team in 2004. College career Coenraad played college basketball in the United States for the Nova Southeastern Sharks between 2005 and 2009. He was named SSC Freshman of the Year in 2006 and first-team All-SSC in 2009. Small Forward
The small forward (SF), also known as the three or swingman, is one of the five positions in a regulation basketball game. Small forwards are typically shorter, quicker, and leaner than power forwards and centers but taller, larger, and stronger than either of the guard positions. They are strategic and are often relied upon to score, defend, create open lanes, and rebound for their team. 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup Qualification
The 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup qualification was the first FIBA Basketball World Cup, World Cup for which teams had to qualify for under the new qualification system. The process determined 31 out of the 32 teams that participated at the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup. Qualified teams Format The continental championships no longer belong to the qualification system for the World Cup. Instead, two rounds of continental qualifying tournaments were held over two years in a home-and-away format. The first round of the qualifiers were held in late 2017 and early 2018. Australia Men's National Basketball Team
The Australian men's national basketball team, known as the Boomers after the slang term for a male kangaroo, represents Australia in international basketball competition. Cameron Bairstow
Cameron David Bairstow (born 7 December 1990) is an Australian former professional basketball player. He played college basketball for the University of New Mexico before being drafted 49th overall in the 2014 NBA draft by the Chicago Bulls. He spent two seasons with the Bulls before playing five of next six years in the National Basketball League (NBL). Early years Bairstow was born and raised in Brisbane, Australia. He attended Runcorn State High School before graduating from Anglican Church Grammar School in 2008.
