Tim Brown (Ohio Politician)
Tim W. Brown (born October 25, 1962) is an American politician who has served as the President of the Toledo Metropolitan Area Council of Governments since 2016. He previously served in the Ohio House of Representatives, representing the 3rd District from 2013 to 2016. Life and career Brown graduated from Miamisburg High School in 1981. Brown received a bachelor's degree in business from Bowling Green State University in 1986. He formerly served as a Wood County Commissioner and as a district representative for United States Congressman Paul Gillmor. In 2013, Brown completed Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government program for Senior Executives in State and Local Government as a David Bohnett Foundation LGBTQ Victory Institute Leadership Fellow. Toledo Metropolitan Area Council Of Governments
The Toledo Metropolitan Area Council of Governments (TMACOG) is a voluntary organization of dues-paying members. TMACOG members include governmental and non-governmental organizations in northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan: cities, counties, villages, and townships, as well as schools and colleges, park districts, businesses, and other groups concerned with quality of life in the region. TMACOG is both a regional council and a metropolitan planning organization. Membership Current members include the counties of Lucas, Ottawa, Sandusky and Wood in Ohio, and Monroe County in Michigan. Other members include various cities, villages, townships, businesses, and schools within those counties and the counties of Fulton, Hancock, Henry, Sandusky, and Seneca in Ohio and Lenawee County in Michigan. Mike Fleck
Michael E. Fleck (born 1973) is a Republican former member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 81st legislative district. He was first elected in 2006 to succeed the retiring Larry Sather, taking office on January 2, 2007. On December 1, 2012, Fleck came out as gay. After his public announcement, he and Rep. Brian Sims (D - 182) became the two first openly gay state legislators in Pennsylvania. Fleck was the only out Republican legislator in the United States at the time. His coming-out announcement was ranked as one of "2012's Top Coming Out Stories" along with those of journalist Anderson Cooper, actor Matt Bomer and ''Good Morning America''s Sam Champion.
