''Till We Meet Again'' is a 1936 American film directed by Robert Florey and starring Herbert Marshall and Gertrude Michael. Marshall and Michael also starred in '' Till We Meet Again'', released later in 1936. Plot On the eve of World War I, Austrian stage star Elsa Duranyi and her English counterpart Alan Barclay plan to marry. But she disappears and he enters the intelligence service, adopting the identity of a dead man. In Monte Carlo, he encounters his former fiancée only to discover that she is also spying for her country. Robert Florey
Robert Florey (14 September 1900 – 16 May 1979) was a French-American director, screenwriter, film journalist and actor. Born as Robert Fuchs in Paris, he became an orphan at an early age and was then raised in Switzerland. In 1920 he worked at first as a film journalist, then as an assistant and extra in featurettes from Louis Feuillade. Florey moved to the United States in 1921. As a director, Florey's most productive decades were the 1930s and 1940s, working on relatively low-budget fillers for Paramount Pictures, Paramount and Warner Brothers. His reputation is balanced between his avant-garde expressionist style, most evident in his early career, and his work as a fast, reliable studio-system director called on to finish troubled projects, such as 1939's ''Hotel Imperial (1939 film), Hotel Imperial''. Guy Bates Post (September 22, 1875 – January 16, 1968) was an American character actor who appeared in at least twenty-one Broadway plays and twenty-five Hollywood films over a career that spanned more than fifty years. He was perhaps best remembered in the role of Omar Khayyám in the 1914 stage and 1922 film productions of Richard Walton Tully's '' Omar the Tentmaker'' and for his over fifteen hundred performances in John Hunter Booth's 1917 play '' The Masquerader''. Frank Reicher (born Franz Reicher; December 2, 1875 – January 19, 1965) was a German-born American actor, director and producer. He is best known for playing Captain Englehorn in the 1933 film ''King Kong''. Early life Reicher was born in Munich, Germany, the son of actor Emanuel ReicherUS Passport Application August 4, 1922 and Hedwig Kindermann, a popular German prima donna who was a daughter of the famous baritone August Kindermann. Reicher's parents divorced in 1881 and his mother died two years later while at Trieste. His half-sister, Hedwiga Reicher, would also become a Hollywood actor. His half-brother Ernst Reicher was popular as gentleman detective Stuart Webbs in the early German cinema of the 1910s.
